Why is the "Test Arena" not available to everyone?
Im not sure if there's been a thread about this before, but I was recently watching one of the MCOC YouTubers testing out counters to Yelona Belova and that's when I thought, wait this is actually really unfair and unbalanced.
1.) They're able to constantly practise and fine tune their skills against the biggest and baddest defenders in the game on a server where they don't need to use any of their own in-game resources and have access to their full roster. This is extremely unfair, mainly in competitive game modes, they have the advantage of having perfected the way you need to play to get around these new champions they have to come up against them whereas us normal players have to practise on the spot in BGs or AW.
2.) People have told me its for them to give feedback on new characters, granted that's a fair point, however steamers gain access to the newest champions BEFORE release to test them out on the CCP server. Streamers having access to the Test Arena during this time to test a character before release makes sense, however they shouldn't have constant 24/7 access to this server to go in at any time and essentially practise against the best defenders... that's severely unbalanced and unfair and my personal opinion is that they shouldn't be allowed to compete in any of the competitive game modes whilst having access to this Test Arena.
3.) The reason the Test Arena isn't available to everyone is because it would ruin the competitive game modes if everyone knew how to counter the newest defender within a week of their release, which is absolutely right, this Test Arena shouldn't exist outside of the CCP server for testing new champions coming out.
Does anyone else agree or have any counter points to what I've just mentioned? Because I'm struggling to understand how this is fair to the rest of the player base.
