MCOC Content Creators, how do you do it?

Hi, I'm coming back to MCOC after a good while away and I had some ideas for starting up a YouTube channel. Unfortunately I've spent the past hour getting very frustrated at OBS and my phone and my capture card for simply refusing to cooperate. But that did get me thinking...

If you're an MCOC Content Creator, how do you make it work? Any software/hardware tips or tricks? Wether about recording, editing, posting, literally anything I'd love to hear it.

When I was more active in arena I used iPhone mirror screen to “airserver” that airserver is a software on your computer. I then used the airserver to share the shared mirrored screen to obs.

Other use the inbuilt record setting in the phone.

    There are various ways.

I literally just use a screen recorder and edit videos on an app. On my phone. It's not too bad.

OBS + Elgato HD60s isn't too hard to set up. Definitely find a tutorial. You can use it for streaming or videos. Personally I only used that for streaming because I found it to be way more effort than just doing it all on my phone.

I use screen recording. Make something catchy and memorable. I barely make videos and have a small amount of subscribers, but it’s not hard tbh.

Your phone has a protocol in it that stops the capture card, and there is something you have to do with the drivers in the capture card to bypass this protocol. I don't remember what it is called, but it took me 2 hours to figure it out. I recommend just using a screen recorder for videos and if you wanted to stream, depending on the content, you could use the computer version for streaming.
