Nightmare Raids....New AQ

A brief background - I joined an alliance where aw and aq are chill, wanted to just focus on BG and other content so don't know much about what are raids and nightmare Raids but...
I came across a yt video by simula67 where he talks about rewards being a selector and the aq for July being raids month aq.
Coming to the question -
1. Can someone explain what raids and nightmare Raids are
2. Do I have to be in a good alliance for it to obtain the rewards for next month, if yes what type of ally are we talking about
3. Do you need high level of skill for these nightmare Raids
4. Basically anything that helps me understand on the gameplan for next month on what I should do

Don't have Mr. Sinister and want him so the questions, would appreciate if someone could guide me in it.

1. That's complicated. In simplest terms I'd just say its a team gamemode where you build charges for your teammates and complete fight objectives while having those charges to deal big damage.
2. You need to be in a somewhat good alliance to do them. Or at least an alliance that is capable of exploring them.
3. You do not need high skill for nightmare raids.
4. You just have to find an ally that you know will explore it and stay in that ally for the month while doing raids and then you should get your sinister.

1. Raids is a smaller map comprised of 10 fights split across three paths; three fights per path with one final boss fight for everyone. Raids also has a limited pool of usable champs split across three different roles. Each of the three paths is designed for three players to work together on, with each player taking one of the roles to help build one another up. Each fight has a different set of rules that needs to be followed to build up charges to build significant damage. Damage is capped at 12% in a fight, so revive usage is normal. You alternate fights with your teammates because you will be building charges for each other's roles. Given that you need nine players to explore a map, you really only want to do raids with a full and committed alliance. You can do it with less, but you lose rewards and risk not even finishing.
2. You absolutely should be in a committed alliance with some good players. The juice isn't really worth the squeeze if you can't explore. If your team has AQ commitment issues, then raids won't be worth it. Best to find another spot.
3. If you want to do nightmare raids, where the best rewards are, you've gotta at least be solid. Regular raids, you can be decent and be okay. At the very least, you can't be bad. You will drag your team down.
4. Find an alliance with raids experience that can help you. It's honestly not anything difficult. Learn prompts, build charges, hit hard, revive, alternate, repeat.
