Hulkling doing horrendously low block damage in GC

I put Hulkling in my BG deck because I thought he cooks with the block damage but I faced a Yelena and then I think it was a cap Britain and his block damage has been terrible, is he bugged or something?

Hulkling is unfeasible bcos he becomes unblockable when you keep hitting into blocks otherwise he could work in invade meta

1. yelena’s abilities reduce block damage if you don’t have daunted debuff or passive on her
2. cap Britain has safeguard in her kit maybe that’s what prevents hulkling doing more damage

It's not HUlkling, it's these defenders, Yelenna and Capita Britania have protection against critics and penetration, new fashion on new champions...

Yelena CAPS all damage at the start of the fight so Hulkling or ANYONE who isn't a mutant with daunted do not benefit from the increased atk rating/block penetration from the invade node.
Also captain Britain has safeguard meaning she can't lose more than a fixed amount of her health from a single hit

Not a bug, just defenders having niche abilities everyone forgets about because we're not used to playing by hitting on block only.

I had two people fall for this one already lol didn't realize how much of a big brain play it was until yesterday.

Sp1 unstoppable can get you cornered very fast if the AI is being aggressive and he banned my Valk so I got cornered and cooked lol he's actually been a decent defender an alliance teammate of mine that's on Mysterium has been placing him too and it works:

It's not as easy as it looks without an unstoppable counter mainly because of AI being very aggressive when he's unstoppable, or without a invade nuke like Corvus.

Hulkling is insane for this meta. The problem is you took him against two defender that’s reduce damage while blocking. If you need the opponent to not gain power, do enough hits into block to activate the unblockable and then wait it out. Otherwise, go to town like normal

Part of this could've been avoided by just knowing the defenders kits. But I get it, 300 champ kits is hard to remember.
