Are we ever fixing the intimidate problem?

Even the passive AI in ROL throws specials while intimidated. Gladiator is almost unplayable.

I r2 my Gladiator, love his play style, but it’s so annoying to co-operate with. 🥹

I thought it was just people not able to handle the ai properly but I tried him in only DUELING and yeah, it’s so bad. Intimidate in actually fights just doesn’t work

My glad is r4, he is definitely not unplayable, quite the opposite really. His intimidate works great. It’s not meant to fully shut down the opponent, just make them block and be passive. Granted, the ai is trash so it does occasionally throw specials when intimidated, but he is still very playable.

When I used hulking, I started using his heavy attack intimidate to bait out a special.
Not even kidding.

It's working as intend tho. Nothing much to say here. Intimidate is not guaranteed unless specified as 100%.

In real life when you intimidate someone you might trigger the worst version of the person. The AI is becoming human and lashing out at players.

There's absolutely no-way I will ever believe that Gladiator and Mantis have the same Intimidate.

I absolutely love Gladiator, brought him to r4 and have zero regrets. But his intimidate is a gamble. Mantis on the other hand, places intimidate and you have about 2-3 business days before the AI decides they can do something other than cower and block.
