New Relics Post Questions

Hi Kabam,

Could you please elaborate on some important questions about new upcoming versions of relics?

1. Will the rarities of new Statcasts vs older Battlecasts have similar prestige values among rarities?
And I assume 7* new Statcasts will have higher prestige at higher ranks than the capped 6* relics, right?
2. If materials we already have can be applied to the new relics in August, does the "awakened ability" of new relics give better benefits than in older relics?
3. Does the number of hits fill up the striker meter at the same rate relevant to different rarities of older relics vs new relics?
4. We cannot equip old and new relics at the same time to one champion, can we?

I know some details will be revealed later close to the release of Statcasts. But some info might be time-sensitive to be avalaible to make strategic decisions on saving our current relic materials, or/and get more of them (the relic package of Heat Wave sales). Especially for prestige and sig ablility reasons for top players.

Please address the impact/difference between Battle and stat cast relics will have on nodes that require a relic to achieve damage/impact/success.

Are they interchangeable?

When will battle cast relic be able to be maxed?

Personally I would like to know why existing shards will not be converted to the new shards.

That’s a question they do answer in the dev diary. They don’t want people to have instant access to a huge number of stat casts, since there’s so much variation in shards people have collected and saved

Then they should have stopped giving them as rewards on the day they decided to stop improving them.

Can someone verify if the 6 star relic nexus that are currently being sold(Heat wave sale) in the Greater Reliquary will have the 6 star Statcast relics in the pool? I’m on the fence on making the purchase if they are only going to include the old battlecast relics.

Kabam has confirmed that current relic crystals will not give access to the new relics. This includes the nexus crystals in that deal. All other items will work for the new relics.
