When Can You Dex Serpent Specials

At what point or what indicates you cannot dex serpents specials? Sometimes it works... sometimes you eat one to the face. Is it some combination or interaction of abilities; fear, pierce, true focus, dread, culforce?

edit: hope i'm not wrong lol
And there are champs like Silk who have built-in Dex replacements, that can work.
If you can't remove/prevent the buff, and you don't have a built-in Dex replacement then you're going to have to block some of the hits.
If there's room to move, you can always dash back out of range of the first hit of SP1/SP2, since it's not a projectile.
That'll let the Unblockable expire, so you can block the projectile hits. They'll hurt, but not as bad as not blocking them would.
For the SP1, you can dash back twice after he leaps at you, to get out of range of the final non-projectile hit.
None of that is "Dexing", but it's the best you can do.
Champs who stagger neutralise or nullify that buff, but it has to remove that buff DURING his special if using nullify eg juggs ebony maw
Champs who dodge attacks when about to be struck NOT dexterity : quicksilver dazzler vulture silk spiral( after enough fervors)
Mordo duped can after blocking one hit of serpent’s specials
I think anyways.
Yeah I hate the inconsistency too, I’ve been waiting for a long time for Kabam to finally “fix” this, but at this point it’s probably safe to say that Kabam sees it as a “feature” as if these abilities aren’t indistinguishable and shouldn’t just have the same functionality. Just let me use QS against Photon for god’s sake.
It’s easier and more reliable.
