Abyss Advice in 2025

Hello all! I want to do a path of the abyss for the title, but need help planning for it. Since all the abyss guides are older, and with the introduction of multiple new long form content destroyers, like Onslaught, I need a lot of help planning my team and path. This is my roster:

What would be the best team? What path should I take? Which champ should take what defender?
Personally, I’m thinking Onslaught and Kate (maybe with Chavez synergy?) but that is how far I’ve gotten. Any advice is much appreciated.

I’m in the middle of a necro run and onslaught has soloed 5 fights so far. I haven’t done abyss, so I don’t know which path would be best. I’m sure onslaught would be great though. Serpent, doom, Kate bishop, deathless she hulk, Wong, and shuri could probably all put in work. Or you could do the tried and true method and use aegon, but I’d advise against that.

Drax can solo the entire thing. He’s invisible after all 🤷‍♂️

Onslaught, Serpent, Kate Bishop, Mr Sinister, Doom, these should be able to handle Abyss I think, depends on the path you take. Or if you have Sig 200 Aegon

That’s a pretty good starting five. I think you could swap DThanos for Serpent if you want faster damage.

But Deathless Thanos should be able to better handle the annoying tech defenders like Iron Man Infinity War

Yes, DThanos with the anti armor ability. And you can heal up throughout the fight, AND you still counter miss / evade, etc

I don't remember what are the path numbers. Most of us did that run on iw thor redskull (old abilities easy) And finished on Karnak. (Path 4?)

R3 mags soloed fights. You have r5a now.
Onsy sinister mags + 2 options. Apoc or px.

You can easily solo abyss till collector with

Nefaria
Onslaught
Doom
Kate
and a armour break champs for the tech defenders, I'm personally not familiar with who else works, I used scream which is also a cheese fight. Good luck with collector tho

I finally did abyss for the first time, because I just didn't want to do it years ago... but i just did it for the initial completion last week using the 7* deathless team on path 1...wasn't that bad last week. Did Path2 /volume 2 carina challenge spiderverse/symbiote with scorpion, spideyham, knull, scream and symbiote Supreme... there is a youtuber now going through Abyss and his videos are helpful if you just search mcoc abyss or mcoc carina challenge volume 2 abyss, they made a couple videos in the last few weeks...
Nonetheless, if you dont want to do abyss, I would skip it as the rewards are pretty outdated at this point. Im just doing it to complete the carina challengers 3 years later than most people did and I want to have everything 100% explored
