Alliance War bug

I’ve had an Alliance War bug for years and I’m kind of tired of it. Some of my champions have been on “alliance war lock” when I’m not even in an alliance war and it’s making me unable to participate in alliance war because I can’t place OR attack. I’ve read some forums saying to join the old alliance and when I did that and waited it didn’t work. Please tell me how I can fix this Kabam

And also, that they aren’t defenders in one of the other +/- UP/DOWN potential Tier Map (not just the “Current Tier” Map your war is playing on ?
(as you could have different defenders in those other +/- maps, which still count as persistently “being in a war”)
Remove yourself completely from your BG, and see if they are available.
(or is this only just happening when you change alliances, that your champs are still locked because of being in the old alliance's wars for both the still current war, and potentially even 1 more war beyond, when you move ?)
Do you mean, every time you changed alliances (over the years) it happens that you can’t immediately join your new alliance's war groups?
Yes, first, the ongoing war would have to end (and rewards sent out, etc), then for NEXT war you should at least be able to join attack. And then later, add defenders for 2nd war beyond that (since you can’t set defender for that 1st next war in advance because “in advance” means you are still in your old alliances war at the time of “in advance”).

But if you mean you have never been able to join wars, for an alliance you have been in for a long time ? Then that's a totally different issue, and would be a bug, that support would have to help with.
(so long as you meet the summoner level requirement in order to even participate in wars. Not sure what that might be ? Level 30 or 40 ??? Uncollected ??? Don't know how far below that it goes that people can first start doing wars. But if you said “years” I assume you are well beyond whatever that may be).
