Can you still complete a monthly EQ after it's expired if you're already in it?

Howdy.

I can't remember what the true answer is, but I overslept this morning after having one more chapter in Valiant EQ left. I entered it before it expired... I'm just wondering if it's worth it to finish it or if it's gonna be a moot point.

    You typically get 24 hours to finish that one quest, so if it is the last one, then you should do it.

    Yes. Only one quest.
    I have done that before ages ago. It probably still works, gives full rewards.

    the countdown still shows 1 more day, but then expired yesterday. Isn't that a bug?
