Wrong BG Placement

The message I received when first entering Battlegrounds said I finished Vibranium 1.............but I actually finished in GC.

It moved me back.

Can we get corrections?

If you made the GC last season you start in Diamond 5. That's the way it's supposed to be, and aside from a hiccup last season that is the way it has been.

That may be so, BUT... the in-game message says "finished Vibranium 1." I finished in Uru but also got the same message. Curious if this affects the rewards you get after the first 5 matches.

There’s a Shatter Essence for Solvarch included in the rewards for Vib 1, which you can only get from reaching GC. So Vib 1 is a part of GC even though it doesn’t show up in the GC tab at the top.

The rewards are for entering the part of VT. So you get the Vib 1 rewards when entering Vib 1/GC. They’re the same thing even though you’re looking at points now instead of shields.

Regardless, kabam said last month that they made a mistake in their battlegrounds placements and everyone should be going to diamond 5. This wouldn’t change based on if you ended anywhere in vibranium or GC.

What do you mean I have no evidence? When you are playing VT finish Vibranium 2 you enter GC, how is that no evidence?
Also what the other guy said about the rewards. The emote for example is a reward for reaching GC.

You get into Vib 1...by beating Vib 2.
*(That means collecting Vib 2 Rewards, but not Vib 1)*
But, the Rank you get is Vib 1.
When, you beat Vib 1, you collect its Rewards...and go to Uru 6.
The Rank, is Uru 6 - not Vib 1.

You can see this in bronze 5, which hands out no rewards. That doesn’t make sense if you receive the rank rewards of the rank you just cleared unless Kabam wanted to randomly award nothing for moving up a rank at the beginning of VT.

You collect the Rewards for the rank you just achieved. Vibranuim 1 becomes Uru. It IS the GC.

This is incorrect. You do NOT recieve the Rewards of the Rank you reach - ONLY the Rank completed.
It's stated in the Note Tab of Level Rewards.

I even received Radiance for competing in GC...so clearly I'm not making anything up.
I even provided an image of missing 28k Trophy tokens from BG 2 months ago.

Yes, it says that because you’re working towards the rank above the rank you’re at. For example, if I’m in Silver 4, the game will show me that I’m progressing towards Silver 3 in the rewards tab. It will say “Complete!” under the rank you’re currently on (Silver 4) and show you’re working towards the next rank (Silver 3). Once you earn all the required medals, you complete the rank you’re working towards and receive the rewards for that rank (Silver 3). Hope that makes sense, the wording can be a bit confusing.
