Welp. 3-22. You read that correctly. Last 25 matches, I have only won 3! Being pitted against accounts with all rank 4s (whale accounts). I can’t even move up from Vibranium 3. This is so effing pathetic for me. I quit battleground & don’t care about this summoners fest at this point. Not a skill issue, this is lack of not pumping money into my account like the whales do.

The nice thing about skipping torch is that I'll never be tempted to push BGs. The lack of skill is always there but there's so many busted 7*s that are behind limited time events that it's not possible for most players to have the time, skill, and $ required to compete.

I see so many post of players complaining that they won't play again since BG matches are unfair ever season. You figure after so many seasons that these players would stop playing BG and thus less post about unfair BG matches but it seems the threat of quitting amounts to absolutely nothing at all.

Just relax and do the objectives every other day and take it easy.
The bigger accounts will eventually move on.

Which means people facing them (even if under-strength) could maybe win about 1/2 of those against sitting-whales.

Not 1/2 overall, because other matches could be stronger people just starting a little later, or those who were stronger but didn’t focus on BG until now with Realm Event and so are trying harder this time.

Most of the whales will be in GC by Wed. I could see them parking in VT for a week to grind points but the radiance is too good and the summoner fest points are too low to park in VT for extended time.

You think every whale plays BG? Summoner fest is drawing in big accounts who don’t even do much with BGs otherwise . But they can sit down in VT and ruin a lot of people’s experience. 100% not their fault.

Only Kabam could take a community realm event and pit the community against each other.

Seems like a skill issue to me

For reference here is my deck and I’m in Vibranium 2. I bought 3 platinum passes and 4 light essences for lumatrix, so I’m not a whale

Finding it rough too.
Repeated stronger rosters than mine, and also they are on 4 stars of the progression, so beating me takes them up to the next level. Nice for them I guess.

If I didn't know better it feels like I'm being matched solely to help these stronger accounts move up.

Doesn't help when I did likely have a match won kabam disconnected me right on the KO.

Don’t even need that- I’m F2P on a 17 winstreak. No losses since BGs started this season

To hover in the same VT tier, someone has to lose at least two thirds of their matches. So contrary to the belief that point farmers "ruin" things for lower progress players, those guys, to the extent that they exist, are handing lower progress players more wins than they would ever get anywhere else. Even if they were matched against players of equal roster you'd expect them to only win 50% of those matches on average. Winning 67% of their matches is something they could only dream of.

If VT was nothing but point farmers, all the Uncollected players would be in GC by now.

All good, I’m in vib 3 too and noticed it got harder, I’ll just camp until 3 days out and get to GC then. I don’t worry myself with the radiance objectives

There’s no way I’m gonna reach the gladiator match for that radiance reward.

The last 20 matches I’ve gotten I’ve been so lopsided and unfair, it’s almost like this game wants me to quit

This is getting a bit ridiculous tbh.
Another 7 matches today and every one was a stacked roster one fight from the next level. Nice to feel used as fodder for others to level up.

Seriously, it is kinda hard to believe every time I select 'play now' there are zero players available of about equal roster on 1 or zero of that level.

Yep until kabam makes it fair for every player whalegrounds is dead!!!!!! Radiance should be given to loyal players who play the mode enough to keep it running. It’s demoralizing losing to skilless players that just buy every defender now.
