What Determines the Boss RNG in Incursions?

Curious as to if it’s just a RNG roll of the nodes and bosses or? Every YouTuber I’ve seen has had a breeze this incursions. Somehow when me and my partner hopped in, we probably faced over 7 or 8 hazard shift and freezer burn nodes. If you don’t have dark phoenix…you’re pretty much screwed. Spiderwoman dies almost instantly to the incinerate damage even though she’s immune to poison. Wondering how you guys worked around that and also wondering if we just got unlucky with our bosses and nodes?

Would really like if incursions would be set nodes or set bosses or even both. Hacks are what I can understand being RNG dependent…Made it to zone 14 and I was able to mitigate killmongers reverberation, but my partner was unable to mitigate Icarus burst damage without it being a revive fest.

    They're random. I can attest to that with all the ones I've played. It's also why Angela is the best. She handles virtually all difficult nodes and difficult node combinations.

    Yeah that’s what I was telling my partner in the middle of it. Wish I had her ranked up. Might even have to rank her just for this. I don’t have the 7 star out of the incursions crystal because it cost so dang much and has such a long reset timer

    Yeah that’s what I was telling my partner in the middle of it. Wish I had her ranked up. Might even have to rank her just for this. I don’t have the 7 star out of the incursions crystal because it cost so dang much and has such a long reset timer
    I did zones 13-15 with a 6r4a Angela because my 7r3 got ko'd by an oopsies. She was still more than able to handle the top zones, though I'd imagine ramping her up to zone 8 would be difficult so you'd have to rely on your other members in your squad. Also, to ramp her up the best, you have to do all the boss fights.

    Yeah defensive cascade almost hurt me more than helped some. Do you remember what other hacks? I took red skull and the armor up hack but I started to think tide of combat with fury burst and just nuke in the top zones
