AW Node 25 Dark Phoenix Counters?

Any ideas who are the best options for Dark Phoenix on node 25?
Main nodes are Thorns (Physical) - 3 and Be Like Water -3.
Dark Phoenix already has fewer counters, so it's a bit tough figuring out best options especially due to thorns.

    Me personally.. probably Diablo
    But mine is R4 s200
    Reduces all damage by 30% at s200 and he's constantly healing too (Recoil plus MD 5 is how I spec him for war)
    Can also just mostly heavy her for less contact if worried about Thorns, but I'm guessing he may not care too much about it.. at least as described above

    He doesn't care about the tac either (damage mitigation, healing and Energy resist)

    Definitely seems like a rough spot. Absorbing Man perhaps? Deals with her Unstoppable and Immortality, and if you stay in Uru form the thorns damage should be pretty minimal. Just stay aggressive to minimize the Nova Flame damage.

    I want to also say that slugging it out with Wong seems possible. Physical Resistance, Regen, and Fate Seal is a good combo.

    Just to show the contact is pretty limited in a mostly heavy counter fight style.. but I don't think the he really cares much about the Thorns anyway

    Jean or Namor should work well, jean ignores thorns as long her field is active, could start with advanced power boost to speed up, normal MLLLL sp1 sp2 spam till she dies, could use some synergies to make it easier.

    Namor can do the same but his damage is capped so it will be a slow fight, jeans bursts are not capped by dp.

    Hood is always the answer for dark phoenix honestly. He seems to work for her on any node, seen a guy solo her on HS too.

    Unfortunately no real way to stay aggressive against her with him.. you need to antibait her sp1.. that will be slow
    Or.. she throws sp1 and gains Unstoppable.. no way to transfer any of the Nova

    Dark Phoenix herself is way more of a threat than Thorns is..
    You need a counter for her, not the Thorns

    I'm liking Diablo for this particular placement, but you're on the right track that you absolutely need to counter the defender herself here.. her Nova will do markedly more damage than any thorns will without a counter

    Actually.. I completely forgot to mention Nefaria.. I think he's a good option
