Ghost and Damage Reflection Interaction

Is this an intended interaction or a bug? It’s been this way forever and it’s very annoying. I brought my ghost into a war fight and proceeded to one shot myself against a dazzler. She reflected my medium attack damage and entire special attack

Have to do it carefully against dazzler and Namor

Back when a 5* ghost was my top champ I remember almost crushing my phone with rage when launching a SP2 into a forward dashing namor with high sig.
