Torch in Nightmare Raids

Stupid question: using Torch on Mangog in Nightmare Raids, and selected the DoT boost.



Completing prompts (4M or 5L) should award extra fervor because of his incinerates, right? Or do I misunderstand the way this works?

    If you don't use pre-fight ability and do perform intercept , then you should have extra debuffs to gain fervor really fast.

    Right. But incinerate debuffs count as DoT for the fervor boost, correct? And Torch should be placing those on every medium, heavy and first and last lights, correct?

    So these should add to the fervor gained every time a mission prompt is completed.

    Except of course when Mangog is enraged. Then he’s immune to incinerate.

    The debilitates increase your fervor gained per mission to that max amount of 30 too. If you intercept 5 times, to get and then maintain the 5 debilitates, you will always gain 30 fervor per completed mission.

    Unrelated, but I recommend choosing siphon slider with torch in the future. It will increase the damage his dot does unlike dot boost.

    Good advice. It’s not best for him, but if you’re trying this Raids version out it can sometimes be too late to change.
