Next month is mutant and Tech and who could be the Next 5/5 mutant defender?

I'm saying that mutant because from what looks like Solvarch is definitely attacker and his ultility is around energy damage and mutant

Basicly releasing the next defender with a partial counter but who could be this defender?

there is something about NOVA according to Vicente,the guy who make dialogues and i have no idea what mutant fits the "NOVA" term

    Would Cassandra be mutant though?
    I get she’s related to professor x but I didn’t think her powers came from the x gene. Then again neither did onslaughts he’s just an entity

    It does come from the x gene, she's a Xavier "copy". She might be an alien parasite, she's Xavier "twin" still

    I think it's a little soon to say that the mutant will likely be a defender, this year has been a pretty solid mix of having multiple attackers and an attacker and a defender.

    I think Cassandra nova is very likely though

    Unless Solvarch has something on his kit that makes him a strong defender i don't see other option for Cassandra if not defender with certain attack value for some matchs

    Champions being 2 way doesn't make them hard defenders though. I'm seeing maybe 2 months this year that have a straight attacker and a straight defender, there's no pattern or at least not the one you're suggesting

    You're acting like a champion having some defensive value makes them a defender outright. Are you seriously seeing that gentle, Spider woman and Nico are defenders primarily?

    Also, Nova doesn't have to be the mutants name. It could be something they do...


    Firestar would be a very appropriate kind of champ for the game; with links to the X-Men, Avengers, New Mutants, and New Warriors (Nova & Night Thrasher).

    not primarily but part of them was develop as defender, Whats the ultility of reverse controls and Fumble that the solo purpose is to shut down Dexterity? ,Nico adrenaline makes her very tank and Gentle Unstoppable and Physical Vulnerability can delay a match

    People have been using them in War and BGs defense,the whole this year's standard is a defender who can be average or very good and a attacker that can be good or not

    I'm seriously saying that next month's mutant could be a defender because that's clearly what they are doing, Captain Britain rework changed almost nothing on her ultility and just made her mostly defensive focus,we had Dark Phoenix as mostly defender

    Solvarch is a sun eater and absorbs suns and other sources of energy,Firestar can be a option since we could be trying to save her while trying to talk down Solvarch at the same time
