High Evolutionary’s Sig: Burst Damage *potency* Increase?

Hello, Kabam. For HE’s sig, we get an increased “potency” based on signature level. At sig 80, he’s doing about the same burst damage than before his awakening.

I took video and screenshots. Is there any guidance for what increased potency specifically means in this context? I awakened and dumped stones thinking there would be an 80% increase—or any increase—to burst damage on his L1s within the Evolutionary Field.

I get that he’s a defensive champ, and some will gladly comment that he isn’t designed to be an offensive champ, I’m only asking for clarity on the increased potency of burst damage.

From the wording, I believe it’s just talking about the burst damage you get on hits while you’re inside the evolutionary field (as it’s under the Evolutionary Field section). The actual combo detonation burst is separate and not granted by the evolutionary field itself.

But you do get extra potency for the sp1 combo detonation burst per debuff on the opponent, as long as either champ is inside the field. However, this is just a potency boost in his base kit, and is not the actual source of the burst damage (unlike the bursts on basic hits, for which the evolutionary field is their source)
