Victory Track in BGs is horrible
Not your usual BG whine post.
I'm only playing BGs for Summoner Fest and Shatter Essence. I have no problem with the match making.
TLDR
Why incentive me to play battlegrounds and then present me with this completely unrewarding experience?
About me
* I got Valiant from Necro, maybe three months after release
* I don't like playing BGs, mainly due to the time it takes to get into the action
* I solo bosses in Tier 4 war. I understand a lot of the mechanics and interactions in the game
* I have 3 R4s (including IH, my AW Queen), and a deck split between mainly R3s/R2 and some 6 star ascended
* I spend a bit of mony. Always the double track, never on the big spends such as torch or dark phoenix
* I completed most of the end game content
This describes my rise from Diamond whatever to currently Vibranium 3.
* I get the battle grounds objectives
* I find a match (10-30 seconds)
* Opponents looks at my roster, forfeits before I finish my bans
* I find another match (10-30 seconds)
* Opponents looks at my roster, forfeits before I finish my bans
* I find another match (10-30 seconds)
* Opponent is a bit weaker but not too bad, start the draft stage
* Oh, they're not picking and letting the timer run down. Most likely put their phone down
* Play 2 fights, watch lots of timers run down and pick up my win
* Collect my 4 objectives
I don't enjoy this. This is not a positive gaming experience. I like AW becase it means something. This does not mean anything.
I'm sure the guys who came up with Battlegrounds did not envision this as a player's experience with the mode.
I don't know the fix it but I do know the current reward structure incentives me to run through this ground-hog day like activity.
