It's been a few hours since the newest Game Mode in MCOC, Dimensional Arcade, has opened its doors -
Summoners have been bashing Doombots and Questing with their favorite Fantastic Family!
So, what’s your verdict on Dimensional Arcade?
Are you vibing with the nostalgic arcade style?
Interested in the Mastery system or finding those Doombot battles a bit tricky?
An important thing to note is that this is a first-time iteration of a mode like this -
Meant to lean into the rogue-like elements of Idle RPGS.
This won't replace any core gameplay of MCOC.

Do you guys not know the main appeal of Roguelite and Roguelikes is the replayability aspect????? You are literally expected to keep dying and dying until you get a good run with the best items.
Truly, having to pay to engage with a test mode is one of the strangest things y’all have done. Usually people pay for feedback, rather than asking testers to pay them for the privilege of being lab rats.
Also, there s 3 defenders and you get hit FOUR times? Wth?
And, a really bad moce adding Resesarch Grants to the rewards, forcing summoners to play this.
I did 3 runs, this really isn’t enough to form a solid opinion. I didn’t hate it. I didn’t love it. I’m struggling to see how this fits with MCOC and how this will keep me engaged on my main account other than being a means to end for some crystal shards. I don’t know I’ll want to play this for fun.
1. Its boring. pick some masteries and go. I have had more interactions when farming revives.
2. The entry system is completely bonkers for a beta mode. This one I really don't understand. You guys have run betas for years. They always have unlimited energy and revives to deal with the bugs that will definitely occur. But instead we have 3 tries (2 in my case) and then well come back tomorrow. Not even titan shards is worth that aggravation. If you want us to test out your "new ideas" make it so we actually can. Don't try to bleed us for money on something that already has bugs.
3. There is no actual information in either the video walkthough or the first set of waves. Yes it says some stuff about whats happening. But there is no info on the enemies, what powers they have, what damages they take. So again we have limited entries and yet there is no way to strategize besides going in and dying and then trying something else.
I concur that this may be the worst addition in years.
Reading here and seeing what the deal is…. wow!
How can we get new ideas like Fantastic Force Recruitment (different, thoughtful, fun) and this… dumpster fire from the same team?
