Arcade Rewards Are Kinda Insane

Ok, so if you clear all the objectives, this is what you get:
3,600,000 million gold
10 research grants
825 units
20k Titan shards
32k 7* shards
2* Doombot

On my main account, I bought the $5 pack and have finished most of the objectives.
On my alt F2P account I'm just going to wait until the daily tokens add up and then just try to get it all done in one session.

Overall, I don't find the mode very engaging, but the rewards are pretty insane, even if you spend money, and you can just have it autoplay while doing something else.
I did enjoy filling up the masteries, that was kinda fun, especially compared to the real masteries, where it takes months to get an extra point.

Like the whole thing is hot trash and then we are forced to engage with it to get the “good rewards”

Nah you don’t.
I played to chapter 3 in story mode and will never play it again,..no matter what they are giving away for rewards.
“Totally stupid “ and “ridiculously boring” are words that cone to mind.

MCOC offers content that is enjoyable+great rewards, unenjoyable+bad rewards, and everything in between.

I usually just avoid the unenjoyable+bad rewards.

This content I classify as unenjoyable+great rewards.

(Although of course enjoyable is a subjective metric, and quality of rewards as well depending on progression.)

P.S> I always wonder who these "unknown" users whose content gets automatically removed are and what they tried to say.
I mean, I feel like it takes a lot to get autobanned? Given some members post garbage 24/7 without a slap on the wrist.

I think this content was maybe created by a child or for very small children that like pretty colours and noises but don’t need to do anything other that mash on the screen to hurry up the story lol. This would keep a preschool child busy for an hour maybe but the minute it began for me was like I just jumped into dr who’s tardis traveled back to 1987 playing double dragon. Which had a similar layout but you controlled the character you fought with a team mate took down bosses then had to battle each other it was cool as when I was like 5. And if I’m honest that game lay out and graphics were considerably better than this is. This game has. Lame graphics and is a lame game in 2025. I think kabam should focus more or. Improving things they already have like bgs match ups like incursions and its layouts encourage people to do things together this make play more fun I find rather than watching an ai fight an ai ( this is on par with watching paint dry ) boring. Sorry for been so blunt im just this way say thing how they are and this wants scrapping lol or aiming at preschool kids.

I see it as no different than autofighting EQ for units.
You don't have to touch anything once the mode starts. The timer on the hacks expires on its own and selects them for you. And I don't play the special mini-game either and haven't died ever after filling up the masteries.
So it's one touch of the screen for each quest.

They had to make the rewards good to offset how incredibly stupid this new content is. They knew it was a dump truck of human waste and they published it anyway. That’s gotta make you question your commitment to the game, to be sure.

But it’s not the same. If I have a block of time twice a week where I can set the phone off to the side with minimal input, I can still autoplay a bunch of EQ with stored energy. This? I have to sit through 24 “waves” daily to get the rewards. No more. No less. If I miss days, hello $$$


I also have at least minimal satisfaction that I can auto run EQ with OP champs I gained and ranked from effort. Not some detached 16-bit character that has no relation to my account.

As @Lightstorm said, they made the rewards such to force people to do it. And then we will get some post about all the engagement the event got and apparently this is what the community wants more of… despite forum sentiment…. And it will justify more such nonsense. The community is just being bought off to encourage more of the same stuff everyone recognizes is hot garbage.

We get 3 tokens a day right? Isn’t that more than enough to do all the story and the shatter matches

Not sure the annoyance is worth the rewards. Pure cash grab. I want kabam to understand, I will stop spending if there is a any more content like this. I typically spend $100-200/month. I just removed my credit card info from both the in game store and the web store.

The poker event is also annoying trash. Not sure what has happened at kabam, but clearly y'all have lost your mojo. Whowver is in charge needs to find the exit right now.

Yaaaa but if I wanted to play strike force ....I would download strike force. The fact there is a game mode that is basically pay 2 win and has NOTHING to do with your built up roster over the past decade is kinda weak

I'm just honestly exhausted from reading everything about the mode, I don't even want to play until tomorrow.

The biggest question I have here is why is this new game mode working in a browser window.
Why go through all of this trouble to create this JS based game instead of adding something new within the game itself.
I will appreciate the efforts cos its does look fine but the efforts are not in the right direction.
Its just really weird playing it in a window inside the game window. And this is turn based stuff that probably does not resonate with people who play mcoc kinda games.

Why are my masteries not saving? Even after finishing a quest? This new “mode” is cheap, frustrating, and insultingly boring to the point where I’m seriously considering if I just give up the free Titan Crystal just so I don’t have to deal with this garbage.

Its on the main home screen. Right hand side above overflow, calendar and underneath daily super event. Very bizarre location to find a game mode

Put a movie, dump all masteries in evade points and get it done.
The more you engage with it is the more you'll get bored with it.

I won't make any comments on the game mode itself because I am a little biased since this particular style of game is the type I used to play on my phones when I was growing up, but I will agree the rewards are insane for the amount of effort required and I'm surprised your post has so many disagrees lol.

We're getting: 3.6M gold, 825 units, one Titan, two 7*s and a couple Doombots for what 5-10 bucks give or take? If this turns into a monthly thing then I really don't get how people could be complaining this much considering how easy the game mode is.

Pretty spot on with that analogy.
The time factor is upsetting, it is being forced like evey other grindy modes.
There's so much going on in the game, its overwhelming and exhausting.
Chase tokens shouldn't have been in there (that's just my personal pov. I would've avoided it while accepting a loss in rewards).

The image shows 0/3. My guess is it doesn’t accumulate. If you don’t use it daily, you will not get more. Kinda like the BG objectives.

With a “make up” mechanic …. Get out your wallet. Cause if die for some reason in the mode or have other things to do in real life on multiple days than watch your phone for an extended period of time welp….. time to monetize it, baby!

Lol They made the rewards good so people will play it so kabam can say afterwards this new mode was a succes but thats pure because of the rewards not because its fun to play its boring and cheap

Nobody is justifying anything, you can dislike the game mode but those rewards are insane for the effort required. How many game modes give you a full Titan and two 7* in a single monthly cycle? None not even BGs.

When did “effort” become the main barometer? It’s a time wasting endeavor whose sole purpose is to make you waste phone battery and MCOC time allotment. Why not just have the phone display “Kabam is the Best gaming company ever!” In neon flashing colors for 15 -20 minutes a day…. And get great rewards! We would have forum posts about how everyone should just quit complaining because “look at those sweet rewards!”
