Pheonix issue..??

I took Peasant pheonix up to rank 3 yesterday, as I really like her buff, and Ive started using her in some lol, bgs and other random bits of content, and I don't know if it's just me, but I can see a clear difference in the AI when her flame aura is up, the ai just turtles up and doesn't throw specials, I can literally watch my aura count down tick from about 8 to 1 and they haven't thrown a special.. and when the aura is down, the Ai is back to consistently throwing specials again..??! Thanks
