LEGEND: An Achievement or a Joke!

I've been playing this game for almost 2 years, and it’s disheartening to see a decade-old title reduced to a gambling simulator. The new faction-swap game mode feels like a slot machine, not skill-based. I've made over 200 attempts for the LEGEND title, yet RNG and my awful luck keep slapping me down. Meanwhile, randoms and newbies are walking away with the title in days. It’s frustrating, especially for those of us who’ve put in real effort. I didn’t sign up to gamble—I came to play a strategy game. Devs, please bring back fairness and skill-based progression.

What adds salt to the wound is that every time I’ve reached out to KABAM for support, most of the times, I’ve been turned away without real help. They've always warded me off by saying if you have a concern, post in the forums. So here I am, in case, I would be able to draw attention of the community/Devs to the aforementioned issue. Sometimes it feels as if this game is only for the players who can drive a big hole in their pockets. God knows why I have to struggle and crawl my way to LEGEND, scraping my knees bloody for a title, when some moron just gets lucky and walks off with it. It’s draining and demotivating, and I can’t be the only one feeling this way.

You are one of the few who feels that way. You’re placing too much emphasis on Legends title. If you really wanted a Legends title these past 2 years, you could’ve speed ran through Event Quest or done one of the Incursion Runs to get the Legend Title.

Bro no offence to the public but I know when and how things went. I used to consider this as a Title worth having and not just any random drop-by. Unfortunately in all of the worry that was the only term you pointed. Thanx anyways.

One of the original ways to get it, by speed-running lower levels of EQ, was not really skill-based either, so who cares

Players that cares and spend cash for useless profile pics or title within MCOC are even bigger dumb dumbs then anybody else here including cheaters that gets banned. Like if you get a title in MCOC does all your life's problem get solved did you really enjoy the tital itself? Do u watch the profile pic 24/7? I have never understood the useless fascination with titles and profile pics in any VIDEO GAME iv played hundreds if not thousands and some useless title never ever made sense as a PLAYER. so honestly stop giving a s## about it. Worry about real gameplay mechanics within the game like AI and recent plethora of bugs after update.

Most players got it by having a Corvus, boosts and energy refills, an iPhone and good WiFi…it was never about skills.

The chance of getting a straight flush? 1 to 73,000, Royal Flush 1 to 650,000…lets not pretend there will be a lot of MCOC Poker Legends when this is over.

Some of the same people who have gotten the title once in poker have gotten it multiple times and I’m just trying to see how if the percentage is so low.

Red titles and the legend banner have been consistently losing value for some time now.

Consider the original "legend" title, for example. It originally was quite prestigious but they eventually ended it because tiny little accounts were effortlessly getting the title. They allowed it to go from something meaningful to something meaningless.

Next up, conduit for revenge. Allowing people to get a legend title for idling while you get carried was pretty ridiculous and a bit of an insult to those who got a legend banner through effort/skill.

They reversed course on that and did ensure that you couldn't get carried for future incursions titles, at least.

But now? Lol... Whatever value a legend banner held before has now been completely eradicated. The red titles have become purely aesthetic like any other, necessitating knowledge of what was required to obtain that title in order to assess whether that was truly a legendary accomplishment or not.

Congratulations, Kabam. You played yourself. As usual, you continuously give established players less and less reason to log in, while desperately trying to cling to us. Lol... Make it make sense.

Titles give you an indication of how good that player is at the game, and how long they've played. Just because you're unable or unwilling to extrapolate information doesn't mean you need to become emotional about others being willing and able to read a few words

A Paragon could have done the same before if they finished EQ fast enough. It's never meant much besides bragging rights.

I'd actually be embarrassed if I was flaunting the Legend badge and saying it made me a great player. Feel free to embarrass this imaginary paragon whenever they appear as well.

Honestly I think the real point to be made is removing the big bright LEGEND badge under legend titles, alongside the deepened black text boxes. For something so ‘worthless’ according to everyone here, it’s still designed to draw attention to it, and I don’t like that. It’s like having a neon sign on every product at the gas station

You must be a real noob if you think the Legend title ever meant anything about skill after it was put in monthly EQ.

There are different types of Legend titles now. And upon investigating a user's profile you can see which types they have. Some were obviously harder to achieve than others. So that aspect of comparison is still there in a sense, anyway.
