Is it a known bug that Nebula doesn't apply stored shock charges on well timed blocks?

I just realized that it only applies when a well timed block results in a stun - contrary to her description
Example - fight a non contact champ.. parry the non-contact.. doesn't apply, then reparry a contact hit.. it applies

Well I believe you just answered your own question and it’s not a bug. You can’t apply something if it’s non contact unless it says in her kit she can parry non contact hits.

Every champion can use the Parry mastery against non-contact attacks, projectiles and even Specials; and benefit from the damage reduction. They just won't all apply the stun, unless they've got that special ability.

So yes, Nebula should be able to inflict Shock debuffs against non-contact opponents. And if she doesn't, it's a bug.

Yeah, she only applies the shock of the attack is contact. Same applies if you parry special hits

Nebula has a very interesting kit but I wonder will she make a comeback if released as a 7* at current state of does she need a tune up? What do you guys think

She don't need a tune up. She got utility and damage.
6* suffers from cpr.
There are many mid 6* who are performing well above average just being 7*s.

Every champ can parry. It just won't inflict the stun. Parry also reduces block damage

Nobody thinks of the damage reduction when you say "parry". It's like saying all champs can get a precision from dex.

That's actually one of the reasons I parry certain attacks, particularly certain special attacks (looking at you Serpent).

Arguments about parry are irrelevant here. It only refers to well timed blocks . Parry or a stun is not needed. But a well timed block alone won't suffice. It has to be a contact attack too. Basic hit or special attack

Just looking at it separately from the literal specifics of Parry, Stun, or Well Timed Block descriptions.

It does seem to make sense that she can not apply her shocks from a hit that did not make contact.

So a projectile (especially), but even an energy attack that doesn’t make contact, would make sense that there is nothing against which to apply her shock charges to.

Does Electro apply his “return damage” to an attack that was non-contact ? Or other champs that have some type of return damage (without looking at the specific wording of their abilities, I would in general say probably not)

Nothing in my original comment was "misinformation" I literally said that "unless I'm forced to block an attack" aka serpent, photon, bullseye that I don't use parry to "reduce" block damage when I can dex and intercept instead. The guardian literally deleted my comment for no reason.

That discussion is futile. All the other "damage back" effects state (exceptions, yes) whether they apply on contact (or will explicitly stated if it is only on contact).

Nebula says that she will apply the shocks on well timed blocks. But they only apply on well timed blocks of contact hits. Whether that is a bug or a description error, we can't say

Maybe your assumptions about other people with experience was wrong.

But
Isn't that contradictory in itself.
You'll do it if you are forced to do it.
So you are doing it.
But then you are saying you'll never do it.
But then were forced and had to do it anyway.

Anyway, moral of the story is parry reduces block damage significantly. That's how you fight all stun immune nodes in the game.
The most common everyday example is war boss.
