To save or not to save… Mystic AG

After all my hard work and pushing through valiant EQ, doing content and grinding the objectives, I got an AG (awakening gem) crystal. I was okay if I got a gem for every class but mystic, and this was my 5th AG crystal hoping for a science AG. Of course, I pulled a mystic gem. The only class I absolutely DID NOT NEED. So now I am stuck, debating whether to save the cursed gem or to give it someone. Of course, whoever got the gem would go to r3 soon. But I really don’t think any of these champs need a gem, because they either don’t need an awakening or need max sig, which I’m not willing to do. Any help and advice is appreciated.

For clarification, every champ is either an r1 or r2.

Kushala all day. Very worthy of an awakening gem and some sigs. Doesn't have to be max sig, but every point makes her better.

Perhaps save unless you really like mordo or isomid. I’m in the exact same situation but I’m saving mine for now, my first ever ag as well so I’ll only use it for rare champs like if I ever get longshot

Save the gem. Any champ you can get from the basic crystal is never worth an awakening gem especially if they need max sig.

Kushala benefits from it a ton and is def worthy of it - but, you could also dupe her from any basic crystal. Other options, only if you really really love them

I have her duped so am saving mine for Nico if I pull her, maybe Doctor Voodoo if his buff is great and I get him.

I completely forgot about Dr Voodoo! I’m 100% saving for him. I forgot I decided weeks ago if I get him I will r3 him instantly. You have saved me 😂

Shala could do well with her sig, she doesn't NEED it, but it's a good addition. Same goes for bug lady, who also has good prestige iirc. I'd say you should only use the gem on them if you're planning to take them up to r3/r4 to the top of your roster.

If you want to use it on someone that absolutely needs to be awakened to be useful, keep the gem around.

I’ll say it — Isophyne is barely worth the investment of ranking up, much less giving her a gem. I have an awakened r2 and she is just gathering dust.

Use it on kushala. Her awakened ability is super helpful even at low sig. She takes a lot of really good defenders and is so versatile. No one else you have is worth it. Who would you be saving it for?

I have r2 unawakened Tigra, was hoping for a mystic gem but got Cosmic. The hunt for mystic Ag continues. I will even give her a generic cause she gonna be my next R4
