Mutants and helping a caliver make a team

First question is she good? I’ve heard she’s good but idk if she’ll help me or not and is she worth an awaking/required to have an awakening?

Second question, if Dani for some reason is not worth the gem ( whether she doesn’t need it or she’s bad/could be better used) who here would make a good fit for my team? I have the Gem so please consider that. Also if there’s no one good here who should I save the gem for? If needed I can show my current team/pool of used champs ( mostly Cosmic and Techs so I really need a mutant )

Alt options I’ve considered are Pys and Deadpool ones been pretty tough when I’ve fought against her and the other is hella fun to play

DPX is the best of the bunch, by a long shot. However, his dupe is pretty niche, so if you don’t get gems very frequently you should save it for AA, Dazzler, Jean, etc.

I know some people like Dani but I don’t find her worth the hassle of her rotation. But she got access to a passive slow off her sp1, which is a nice bit of utility. Most of the others are largely irrelevant.

Enjoyed using the 6* dani but became a massive hater when I pulled her 4 times from titans while eveyone else pulled onslot, photons or silks.

Took her r2 just for memes. Then she received rebalance.
Well the hate settled and I started enjoying her again. Animations are smooth and the sp2 crits were satisfying.

And as a dani fan...
She's not worth it, as a 6*.
I still use 7*r2 here and there, mostly in sq story or Veq. Just don't upgrade her.
Go with dpx. I have plans to max my 6* with showcase r5 gem.
