Returning Player Needs help for Content Focus

‎I'm a returning player who quitted around the time Necro was still relatively new, now I'm back with a TON of new and difficult content I'm not familiar with..

‎I'm currently EXPLORING act 9.2, will probably finish in a few days..

‎After 9.2, I was originally thinking of Planning a completion for Necro since I ranked up Aegon, Shuri (not r3 yet), and Jugs for it before quitting, but now I'm kind of hesitant to commit..

‎So now I need some tips and account
‎ management.
‎
‎What are your guy's recommendations for account progression so I can start keeping up with newer content.
‎
‎Some rank up suggestions in alignment with content focus would be of great help too.

Since U have serpent, I would recommend U tackle path 4 of epoch first. He can do the whole path by himself it's just 1 or 2 fights might be a little bit tricky.

It gives a generic 2-3 gem (same as necro EXPO) and enough t4a for a second R3 as well as a titan.

But, Do you think Serpent needs awakening for it? Also since It's a 3 champion quest, who else should I bring?

I saw some vids on YT on the aries fight, I saw that Cyclops can essentially cheese it, if there's no better options, I'm fully prepared to go all in on R3 Serpent and r5 Cyclops (6*)

It's a 3 person quest and also class hated. So the same path has to be taken once by cosmic and skill, and then mystic and mutant. So you won't be able to take serpent and Cyclops on the same one.
If you want to go the serpent route then search for path 4 of epoch on yt and path 5 for Cyclops. Serpent also doesn't need awakening for path 4. I would also take cheelith as she makes Heimdall a joke.
