Battle Grounds Question

Could someone remind me where you start in Battle Grounds at the beginning of new season? I ask this as currently in Diamond IV working on trying to get Diamond I at least and if possible into Vibranium. I'm trying to get those Summoner Fest by making it into Diamond I and Vibranium I, but knowing the odds of me getting into Vibranium I is hard considering the time remaining (excited how far I've made it this season, my furtherest yet).

If anyone can help please feel free to add to this thread. Thank you in advance!

    I forget the exact number, but it's roughly two full tiers before where you finish a season. So if you finish Diamond 1 you should start somewhere around Gold 1 next season.

    Yeah it’s 2 teirs, if you finish anywhere in GC you start in diamond 5, so anywhere you end just count back 10 and that’s where you will start next season. Thats what I did before I started hitting GC.

    That's the starting for those who finished in G.C.

    But for V.T., isn’t it only 8 levels you fall down to start next season ? (pretty sure that is correct).
    So “almost” 2 full tiers, but not exactly.
