Game not updating on my phone

I tried to update the game for this most recent update and it is not working. A friend of mine with the same model, Galaxy S22, is having the same problem but my brother had no problem at all. I checked all the common problems that were stated on google play as potential problems and none of them fixed the problem. I tried getting on around 1:30 and 2 hours later still have not been able to get on.
