Why doesnt his heavy work ? His charges do absolutely nothing but in yelenas kit (unawake version) it says she caps opponents attack at 60% at the beginning of the fight but your gaining the extra attack during the fight so surely his heavy should be just reduced by 40% ? @DNA3000 any chance you could clear this up for me ? Thanks

I’m not sure if this is a translation glitch, but the English description says Yelena caps attack rating to 60% of what attack rating was at the start of the fight, not that she caps attack rating at the start of the fight only.

I am English mate haha, I just didnt know if the description meant you have a 40% reduction at the start of the fight but it means is if your attack is 1000 and she makes it 600 then no matter what happens you cant go above 600

It's just another one of those things Kabam does to make sure their new defenders can't be abuse killed for 2-3 months then new attackers will drop them sub 40-50 seconds.

Basically ANYTHING THAT INCREASES ATTACK RATING WILL NOT WORK. Furies for example will not work. Shockers heavy gains INCREASED ATTACK RATING yelena stops that so no damage for Lil shocky.

The key part of the description is "while being attacked." This precludes the effect from only happening at the start of the fight (in fact, it can't happen at the start of the fight because you aren't being attacked at the start of the fight).

Important to note that this also means during the fight attack rating is not being capped when not being attacked. That might seem to be a technicality, but there are times the attack rating of a champion is meaningful even when they are not attacking. Champions that can damage you when they aren't attacking, for example, will have such effects unaffected by the cap (at least in theory: I haven't actually tested this directly, I am simply presuming from the description).
