Weekly Alliance Quest

I swapped allies when this dropped, when I joined (less than 24 hours into the quest) all the milestones were complete, does this mean I just completely miss out this week?

I think there’s a timer for qualification -most likely you’ll get it if you stay in the ally for a full week now

There's nothing to acknowledge. It is a peak milestone event, which means the alliance is rewarded only at the end of the event and at no point in-between. The only time you can't claim milestones you didn't contribute toward is when each individual milestone can be claimed. Once your eligibility timer expires, you'll be eligible to claim whatever milestone your alliance reaches at the end of the event. The only time that is not the case is if you joined an alliance too close to the end of an event and the eligibility timer extends beyond it.

There's nothing to acknowledge. It is a peak milestone event, which means the alliance is rewarded only at the end of the event and at no point in-between. There definitely is, I didn't just mean my post (there's no timer or even anything saying whether I am or am not eligible for rewards hende the confusion) but also the posts about boosts, potions and energy refills missing completely from the event, some people even claiming it was better before and Kabam haven't said anything as always

Kabam has acknowledged some of those other posts. The in-game message saying all the missing rewards would go into the new daily quests also acknowledged those posts preemptively.
There's still nothing to acknowledge in your post because it isn't an issue. You will get the rewards you alliance earns at the end of the event, the same as you would in any other peak milestone event. If you've got no timer, then you've got nothing to worry about.

As to whether or not the current situation is better or worse...well right now it's absolutely worse. They took rewards away and for some reason we have to wait for them to come back. I can't understand why they didn't switch everything at once, but Kabam makes weird decisions as always. But that doesn't mean the final picture won't look better than it was before.
