My Crucible Run

God I hate this new forum layout, but I'll make this thread nevertheless just in case it helps even one other player.
Basically, I'm doing like quick 4- fight sessions in between work stuff.

I haven't planned this out and I'll mention if any fights didn't work, but so far no problems. Will update accordingly.

If there are any questions about a certain fight, comment below and I'll try to answer while it's still fresh in my mind.

How do I play the BPCW fight with FAM? I’ve been struggling against that fight. Thanks

So as long as you have an armor-up, which FAM gets all the time, you can dex any hit from BPCW and that gives you like a 15-second counter to his autoblock.

So just maintain that true strike autblock counter and keep it refreshed.

Then you basically just want to throw the SP2 with the power detonation red thing active for big burst damage.

I was going to say all the counters worked except Nick Fury, but it looks like I forgot to list that batch of fights.

You can still get it done with Fury, but you have to wait out that degen/recoil or whatever debuff whenever it pops up. I didn't even know what it was and thought I could just finish the fight but the recoil damage is way too much.

i don’t know what the answer is for Havok. Nimrod was terrible. Couldn’t keep the armors and kept getting flash fried.

Colossus soloed that fight. He is armor break immune so the nodes mean nothing in that fight.

Good tip from Stupid91 for folks who still haven't done that Havoc fight. Thank you bud.

And we are done with the Crucible. Used Juggs for the boss because that's who I used originally; mutants with prowess I guess deal more damage, but it doesn't really matter.

What matters is my new R4, which is both my first Skill R4 and my first pure attacker R4. But hey, if you can take Photon, Spider-Woman, Bullseye, Yelena, and Dark Phoenix, then you deserve an R4 in my book.

Nimrod is terrible but still can do it. With a smaller ramp. Alternatively sentinel works well since he's Armor break immune

Will a low rank 6* rintrah be able to take sersi? Not sure if he can out damage or neutralize the regen in time to get the kill

His rank doesn't determine his ability to keep neutralize up, so you really shouldn't have to worry about the regen. I'd suggest taking him to rank 3 at least and boosting though.

Mutants with prowess seem to be the recommendation from most people. I used Dust, she cooked. Two revives, I think. See a lot of OG Storm, some Bishops.

But honestly any strong champ will be fine. Using prowess champs is helpful but I don’t think it makes as much difference as choosing a shrug off champ for Bahamet.

Compared to like EoP, Ordeal, and Wheel of Fate, this Crucible really is not hard at all.

I'm seeing people with only a couple of R4s who've already done it.

So even if you feel scared to do it, I say go for it.

It's all Act 8 stuff; you can use 6s for every fight.

The only problem is that I don't have a shathra, instead I'm using Symbiote supreme for gorr. Would that be a significant difference in using rintrah for gorr and sym supreme for sersi?
