Is there anyway to dupe 7* modok without an awakening gem?

I’m trying to decide if I should take modok from the selector with modok and patriot, and I was wondering if there’s anyway to dupe 7* modok right now other than an awakening gem. It seems like his sig ability is very important for his defensive utility, but I’m not sure if it’s worth taking him if there’s not an easy way to dupe him. Does anyone know?

Nah I don't think so. But even then Modok is probably still the better choice as Patriot is already in base crystals
