Immediately, the first concern is where are the units? The lower tiers of EQ, from Contender to Uncollected, provides us with a total of 621 units. Add another 150 units from the Valiant EQ, the total monthly income from EQ reaches 771 units. Will it all be included in the new adaptive format?
DAILY QUEST REWORK and ENERGY REFILLS
So you say the energy expenditure on monthly eq will be greatly reduced, and that, in turn, justifies the reduction of energy refills rewarded? I see you’re trying to apply some logic here, and it would totally make sense, if there wasn’t a section in the same dev diary mentioning a whole new energy drain; Daily Quests. Not only is this another energy drain, it’s on a much bigger scale. With EQ we could have gathered energy over time and tackled it whenever we found time in our schedule, and when EQ was done, it was done and energy use could be reallocated to other areas. Now with Daily quests we *have to* run through it almost daily just to unlock a greater reward at the end of the week. The non-stop daily needs of the Daily Quests certainly sound like they are going to need a lot more energy than the monthly EQ runs. So where is the scaling of energy refills for the new Daily Quests?
Sounds like the energy refills should be scaling up, not down!
On a side note:

If units are the justification for the cost of energy in Daily Quests, then what the heck is the excuse for Solo Raids when there isn’t a single drop of rewards in the entire map? 3 energy per tile for no rewards of any kind! What is this if not pure malarkey?!
