EQ difficulty proposal
As almost FTP player, I was often in a situation where the newest content demanded more deep or more powerful roster than I have. But with the help of my skills, boosts and some revives, I could do this and get better rewards. It was harder and more challenging for me than for regular spenders, and I'm okay with that. You spend - you get an advantage, no offense.
But now with dynamic difficulty based on prestige, I can't even try to get rewards better than the game decided I deserve. It doesn't matter what skills I have, it doesn't matter what challenge I'm willing to take on.
So, my proposal is to give us a choice what difficulty we want to try on.
It could be one of three:
1. The difficulty based on prestige (default).
2. The one level higher difficulty for those who wants better rewards and is ready to put some more effort.
3. The one level lower difficulty for those who wants to play more casual.
To prevent completing all three difficulties, there could be some sort of key giving access and consumed after completing the first quest. We already have this system for side quests.
