July SQ is terrible if you’re already doing the Act 8 Crucible

Halfway into my actual Crucible run, I decided to take a break and do the SQ.

To my horror, with the Mini Crucible, I have to repeat the exact same fights I just did, with crappier champions (don’t really rank up my 2-stars compared to my 6/7), and with crappier rewards.

Why isn’t there an auto complete if you explore Legendary Act 8 Crucible? Why wasn’t this SQ released a month prior so it could be seen as “practice” before doing the Crucible next month?

Before the expected pushback happens, easier fights doesn’t make repetition any better. And also, “you don’t have to do it” is not the point.

Just because you don't wanna hear that you don't have to do it, doesn't make it any less true. You really don't have to do it.

You are not crazy, plus it was helpful with some of the chapter bosses to be able to brush up on their phases again with much lower stakes

And I thought it was actually good. Felt like reading and actually figuring out what should be done. Did it before main crucible.

Thanks to 52 casino 2*s they gave last month.

Fights were easy, they took out every annoying node from the real crucible.

Free practice on both bosses. And I felt thay Big crucible was deadas boring, I slept though fights and woke up KOed.

Much better than mindless 2* arena fights in kabam kids kasino. OR, the autoplayer quest with no guidelines, players left to figure out themselves. Only made bearable due to frequent compensation tickets.

I was really happy with the mini-crucible. It took a bit longer to do than the standard side quest but it was fun to try out a bunch of champs and relearn the Bahamet fight.

I solo’d both of the main crucible bosses that were in the mini crucible due to the ‘refresher’. So, I agree with others that I not only thought it was fun do do this fights with lower level champs, but also thought the boss practice in particular was great.

The figths are way more easy than originals, you can do it in 20 - 30 seconds, just give a try, also you don't need specific counters for any figth.

My point is “you don’t have to do it” adds nothing to the conversation. Its like pointing out that the sky is blue, there is already an implicit understanding that that is true.

The point is not whether you have to do it or not, it’s about how if you do it, it is a bad experience if you’ve already done the full size Crucible.

It doesn’t matter if something is easy if it is tedious. I don’t want to have to file my taxes twice even if the second time only requires half as much information.
