Mini cerastes question

How do you get round the need for a striker to remove his armour? As 3* don't have it and his kit still says you need one

3* champs can be equipped with a 3* relic.

3* can. 2* can't, which is what you use for the first part/chapter, which is one of the reasons why I'm assuming they broke the boss fights up into their own chapter (so you could use 3* and this relics).

Best strategy - Pair your 3* with a 3* relic.

Worse strategy - Go in without a striker and break only 2 of his armors. Will take longer but can still be done.

Did it without a striker. Took a while with 3 of my 5 champ team, but is doable.

I used 3* serpent with striker, but his sps were long enough and the boys didn't want to block. I didn't have all 3 of his things active at once, still soloed the fight easily. May be a skill issue, but yesterday I did the big boss in the new challenge with venom, and it was easier to trigger these things

I find this fight to be the most irritating of the bosses. Is there a generally accepted strategy that I’ve forgotten?

Certain sequence of breaking the armors?

I used a 3 star Angela and Gamora with 3 star cosmic relics. The objective is to break his armors with the relics and then he becomes vulnerable to attacks. There is a moment when he doesn’t receive damage and you have to run towards him at the same time he’s going to attack you and hit him first and he gets hurt again. At the end you have to break his armor when he’s blocking in order to defeat him

Why are people going thru the pain? Its not like the real crucible... Its 2 tiles you can equip and restart...

Push him close to a bar of power, use striker, use sp1. Bait out his sp1 and hit into block.

I alternate between striker and knockdown until they are both broken. Bait sp1 then hit into his block until 3rd armor is broken.
