7 star Cull Obsidian Unduped, worth ranking up?

I jus got a 7 star Cull Obsidian. Wont be having resources to dupe him any time soon. So is he worth upgrading after the buff? I don't have any 7 star cosmic champs rit now. AG are very hard to find.

When we hit the awakening gem mark in the crucible realm event you should be able to get his dupe. Mines r4 awaiting it atm lol
