Experining Overheating Phone Issues

Not sure if it has been addressed, but has anyone been experiencing this since the last update?

Currently running iOS 18 on iPhone 16 and experiencing severe overheating for the last two months.

60 fps does that, iphone and android. its a chip thing.

I actually had a notification from my phone, it was 110°F and i was playing MCoC outside 🤣

Yup facing that same issue. Recent times it is getting too hot. So I'll just keep my phone in fridge for few minutes.

i have not experienced any of this recently.

I don’t know how to troubleshoot it.

i think there’s a post to actually help by providing as much information as possible.

If you use an iPhone, turn of 60 fsp and you’ll be fine. Haven’t had any other mobile devices since iPhone 3, so not 100% sure its a iPhone only issue.

Weirdly, I haven't experienced any overheating since the 60 fps launch, but I have since the last two updates. Can anyone attest to that?

my overheating iPhone hasn’t been since the iOS 18.6.1 update (your mileage may vary)
