Dazzler Nukes Solvarch

Soooo...Dazzler is by far the best Solvarch counter in the game. It's not even close. The reason is that Dazzler's special attacks deal energy damage while Solvarch reflects 50% of the energy damage that his opponents deal back at them as physical damage, but Dazzler in turn reflects physical damage back as energy damage at 200% potency (if she's at sig 200). I think this cycle then loops and loops and loops, resulting in a single Sp1 from Dazzler that does almost 500K damage.

I didn't know this would happen or I wouldn't have tried to bait out a special attack from Solvarch for so long. I could have just thrown my Sp1as soon as I had it and was affected by one of his Kinetic Discharge passives.

I keep telling y'all. Kabam refuses to make physical damage as big of a threat as energy or direct damage because they've created dazzler. Why are they not releasing more thorns based defenders?? Once they've sold the solution they move on to create the next problem.

She's also the reason yelena requires daunted because dazzler was a massive success and was a main stay in alot of top players decks that if they were to release a 5/5 skill defender they had to make sure the most common mutant attacker (at the time) couldn't nuke them.

This is old news. I think it was Pepe that had posted a video about this when he stumbled across it during a BG's stream a week or two ago. Still cool and need the high sig for it to work.

Yeah, Namor can do some crazy things with his sig ability. I don't use him myself much as an attacker, but I've had very unfortunate things happen to me every once in a while when I've fought one. That's annoying as heck (or equally fun, if you enjoy using him and can leverage that on attack).

It seems as if you yourself can't definitively tell whether this was a bug or not just by "reading the abilities," so I'm not sure why you're coming after anyone else for raising an eyebrow when Dazzler suddenly does 500K damage in a single Sp1.

Basically, Dazzler deals energy damage, Solvarch reflects energy damage as physical damage, Dazzler reflects physical damage back at Solvarch but increases its potency by up to 200% at max sig (my Dazzler is sig 176). This then seems to ping pong around. Fun times ensues.

As in: If this doesn't happen when awakened Dazzler hits him with a special while his passive is up, there's a bug or a typo. Her abilities have her no damage and reflection happening during her hits (not "on hit" and not "while attacking") and for instance, Namor's no damage is while attacking and the reflect doesn't happen until the attack ends.

No one's "coming after" anybody, calm down.

Ever since Electro + Heimdall, if a champ can reflect damage, players are looking for an instance where it can be used offensively. This is neat and dramatic, but not unexpected.
