Query around Relics reborn event....

As an FTP you would be getting
2 tokens from crucible
1 each from arena event and calender
1 each from realm event and alliance event
But to get the alliance event tiken you would have to put more than 2000 units, so instead of that what if your alliance places in top 10% and you get one without investing units. So my question is:-

1. What amount of points as an alliance would place you in the top 10%?
2. Should I invest those 2000 units for an extra selector when I already have Cull and a unopened selector?
3. Any other thoughts or stragies are welcome

You can spend all the units you want, but if your alliance isn't also pushing the event then you are going to miss out. So your alliance's participation at this point in the alliance event should really tell you what to expect overall in the end.

You start by talking about FTP and then go into "but if you spend units". Units are FTP, and spending units is still FTP. Those things shouldn't be separated. Anything that can be achieved purely by units is FTP.

As to your questions;

This event is a first. There is no telling what it will be. If your alliance hasn't reached the final milestone, then I wouldn't expect to get top 10%, but that also doesn't mean that top 10% is only those that hit the final milestone.
Up to you. If you really want one of those champs, 2k units (plus the other stuff you get) isn't a bad price for a fully formed, guaranteed 7* champion that you want.

Sorry for the confusion, by FTP I was only talking about not buying the token and getting it by playing and using units. My alliance has reached around 26k points and I could use units to claim the token or hope we get in top 10% for the 6th token.

One of the reasons for asking this was also becoz you would end up with an extra token if you use units for the alliance event token and also get the rank rewards token. Thanks for the responses

In that case, I personally would rather go for the guarantee and get the milestone token instead of hoping for the rank reward token. Way better to have an extra token at the end of the day than be missing one.

Like I said, if there's a champ you want and it's worth it to you, put in the units. Better to get the guaranteed token and know you're getting what you want. If you happen to be blessed with an extra token, then you can get an extra 5k 7* shards on top of what you're already getting.

Yeah that always makes more sense since anti venom and viv are good and would not be available for a long period. I guess I wanted that false hope 😅 that getting in top 10% as an alliance would be easy and wouldn't have to use units for the last token. Reality hits hard 🫡

If you spend for the 6th token, your alliance is more likely to place top 10% for an extra token. A potential paradox to be sure. I guess what you need to ask yourself is how mad will you be missing out on that second selector if you pass on spending units for it.

Yesh 😅 that dilemma still remains and it's not like I grind arena for units so these situations certainly don't help my mind 😂. Will update on what I do and what happens
