Joining Raids

I thought originally we had to join Raids in the first 24 hours. But then during Raids month people could still join several days into it. What's the rule now that we're back to regular Raids? Anyone know?

The wording in the game is and has been wrong. You need to be in the alliance before raids week starts, that’s it. Many alliances don’t have backups join until Tues/Weds/Thurs so there’s no first day join requirement. You also can’t have joined normal AQ the same week.
