Customizable Punching Bag Mode for Testing Champs
Purpose of the Suggestion:
Right now, players often use ROL Winter Soldier to test damage and abilities. With the rise of 7-star R2 and higher champions, ROL has become less useful. A customizable punching bag would solve this by giving players a controlled environment to test and practice.
How it Works:
• You choose the champion you want to fight against.
• You set the nodes and adjust modifiers.
• You decide if the opponent uses specials or just stands still.
• The opponent has infinite HP so you can test champs without needing to restart.
Benefits to the Community:
• Gives players a reliable tool to test damage and rotations.
• Lets newer players practice against specific nodes and learn mechanics safely.
• Helps advanced players try out new strategies and test synergy potential.
• Reduces the reliance on outdated content like ROL for testing.
Why This Improves the Game:
This feature adds value for every player, no matter the level. It provides a safe place to experiment, practice, and explore without affecting progression. It would also create a more accurate way to measure champ potential, compared to current outdated options.
• Energy or token system
Instead of unlimited access, players could get a set number of “practice tokens” per day. That way, it does not replace actual gameplay, but still gives everyone a fair chance to test.
• Adjustable AI settings
Let players choose AI behavior. Example: full aggression, defensive, parry heavy, or stand still. This would make practice more realistic than just hitting a stationary champ.
• Damage tracking tools
Add stats after the fight like total damage, DPS, crit rate, and ability accuracy. This would make testing clearer than simply watching numbers fly on screen.
• Preset modes
Create ready-made setups, such as “Boss Practice” or “Node Challenge,” so players can quickly jump in without building from scratch.
• Progression unlock
To keep it balanced, make this feature unlock after completing a certain quest (like Act 5 or 6) so it feels like a reward for progressing, not just a free tool from the start.
