Damn Did I Get Lucky?!?!

I can’t believe my luck with this one. I got this with one of my 7-hour rebirth crystals. Now who to pick? I pulled Cull and Sabretooth with the crystals from the Crucible.

Should I:
- choose Viv?
- choose AntiVenom?
- dupe Cull?

I think you should choose Anti venom, you can awake Cull with gem in Rebirth event soon

I actually have 2 selectors. I think I’ll take Viv and AntiVenom. Then I’ll use the gem to awaken Cull. Thanks so much for the feedback.

assuming we do reach all the thresholds to get enough rebirth tokens for 2 selectors, I will choose AntiVenom with one selector and choose to dupe Cull or Viv.

Which champ (Cull or Viv) benefits more from high sig? I’ll use the awakening gem on whichever needs fewer sigs and get the full dupe from the selector on whichever benefits from higher sig.

Based on this, who should I choose with the 2nd selector - Cull or Viv?

Viv definitely needs high sig. Cull it depends on who you talk to - some people are saying he also needs high sig, some are saying he doesn’t. I don’t have him yet so can’t say personally. I can say that based on my experience with 6* Viv that she needs it.

Cull is good with medium sigs, although the more the better.

Viv idk. Is she really good? I have cull (awakened with cosmic ags) and nightrasher. Which two champs to pick from selector, and use ag on? I really like voodoo but nobody is investing on him it seems.

Clobberin I think is a fan of Voodoo and he had decided to invest in him. I personally wouldn't invest in Voodoo when Nico exists. Nico is just straight up the better champion, imagine getting powercrept before release but I guess its just natural since game balance 🤣🤣🤣

Let's be honest here, Voodoo is a rank up made just for Dark Phoenix but I permaban that abomination so I couldn't care less. Anti-venom is not a bgs champion but can be quite useful in certain scenarios. He also looks cooler. Depends on your focus on the game and who you enjoy using tbh, I'd rather get Anti-venom for his cool animations and permaban Dark Phoenix instead.

On to the off-topic rant; I've never seen such disgusting champion design, 10 times worse than Serpent which is quite the feat. Can't wait for her to ridicule top players in battlerealm brawl unless they could draft Nico. At least Serpent had a few playable counters in release and was supercharged for many metas in order to be as broken. This creature doesn't get such broken node combinations and still **** on top celestial players who have 6 star Nico as their one and only option.

But Kabam won't nerf their paywalled 5/5 defender, not like they give a damn about game balance anyway. Meanwhile Leader gets a fury for each personal debuff on the opponent when his door is opened which is his damage phase. At what potency you may ask? Barely 100 attack rating per fury at r4 🤣🤣🤣

What a fking joke, God I hate this champion.

There's already a bunch of dp counters though, like hood and basically any unstoppable counter would kind of work even though they take some damage.

Also since she is whale fodder we peasants rarely have to face her, especially a 7* one.

Also while nico is clearly better, voodoo has power control, one of the best doom magik level, I just don't wanna miss it out.

Can you give some examples for those unstoppable counters? I've only seen Quicksilver work with multi-hits and slow. And there's one problem, they take unavoidable damage which also kills their block proficiency. A relatively decent Dark Phoenix fight wouldn't win the round most of the time, that's how low the standard is for that champion. Additionally, if she decides to throw an sp1 into block randomly, pretty much 30% or a larger percentage of your health is gone instantly with not much you can do for most "counters" like Spiral for example.

Also I don't even play bgs much, just hit 100 points a few days ago and parked for example but I still came across many 35k+ prestige accounts with r4 sig 200 Dark Phoenix throughout the journey. Can't really say I rarely face her and I never even bother with bgs other than sometimes deciding to go for radiance objectives. It should be quite the struggle for those that actually grind the mode with constant playtime if even I got to face accounts that have her maxed out though I barely play.
