Rhino Buff sucks

Please take the Rhino buff back and do a complete rework.
You are simply rushing into champion buffs and this is even worse than Sabertooth. Take another 2 years I don't care but I don't want to see this version of him anywhere.
An actual noodle would do more damage than this let down.

he’s actually quite good offensively, my rank 3 ascended six star gets 1.5 minute ROL takedowns unawakened. That would be quicker awakened. He just needs his furies to fall off 1 at a time, his pause to be moved to the base kit and a physical vulnerability in the sig instead of the pause for people with lots of armour and/or physical resistance.

Yeah, barely anything other than those multiple significant changes and he wouldn't be that bad.

I just tested my rank 3 6* sig 200 in a dual against my rank 4 Destroyer. No way he is a 3.5 out of 5 in the damage department.

R3 6 * Rhino took Destroyer down in 54 seconds and then 50 seconds.

R3 6* Red Hulk took down Destroyer in 45 seconds.

R3 6* Gladiator Hulk took down Destroyer in 46 seconds.

Then I decided to take a low rank champ and see how they did.

R1 6* Spider Punk took down Destroyer in 43 seconds.

Rhino hits softer than Red Hulk, let that sink in. Not to mention Red Hulk can at least crit so that his burst damage is also amplified. Rhino is just what you see is what you get.

If he could place decent sized physical vulnerabilities OR CRIT then he would be insanely fun.

I don't have any version of him ranked up and I don't really feel like ranking any version of him up to test him out, but I'll say this: I don't think he needs a complete re-do, but I do hope he goes through the rebalancing programme. Damage aside, I have no problem with his kit as such. I'm fine with him being a "lighter" champ, in terms of kit. I think the game can benefit from that sometimes. He reminds me a bit about Hulk in that regard. His buff was basically just "Hulk smash" + insane stuns, and that worked out great. He's not top of the meta, but perfectly viable nonetheless.

But Hulk has the damage to back up the lightness of his remaining kit, and I find it super weird that Kabam releases a buff that isn't available (even for the CCP, it would seem) as a 7*. That makes it impossible for people to properly gauge him. Now, obviously not every buff is going to be given away as a 7* to everyone the way Modok and the Rebirth buffs were, but if you don't give anyone access to a version that's equivalent to who we're playing with at the moment, then of course people are going to think he sucks. I'm not saying that he'll be a god when he arrives as a 7* and we can take him to r4, sig him up to 200 and give him a proper relic, but his damage will at least be better than the mid-ranked 6*s that I see even content creators testing out right now.

We technically have the same problem with Yondu since he's not a 7* either at the moment, but at least there we can all see which numbers went up and by how much they went up, and the consensus seems to be that the right numbers went up (or down) by about the right amount.

So Kabam, please release him as a 7* (at least to the CCPers) so that we can actually judge him fairly, and then rebalance him if necessary.

In theory I understand the idea that the fury and red numbers via trauma would replace the benefits of the crits but that doesn’t seem to be the reality. It’s really weird because plenty of champs with trauma or overload also can crit so why not him? It’s like they were trying not to make him a hulk level nuke and they took it too far. Plus you’ve got the terrible flow from having to dash back and forth and he’s not even 100% able to counter bleed. I think I would rather use any hulk other than him. Please don’t let him be the replacement champ for the next Eidol in a future Titan. We’re just getting rid Rhulk and I think I’d rather pull him as a 7* ( as I did repeatedly) than get a 7* Rhino out of a Titan.

His playstyle sucks, his buff sucks, he barely does any damage with all those furies and they fall off way too quickly, he is similar to Adam Warlock in terms of ramp where you need to constantly attack so you don't lose tempo, but it's somehow worse with rhino where you need to also constantly dash back. both of these champs suffer from really really bad AI problems but Adam Warlock AT LEAST DOES A LOT OF DAMAGE.

He's gonna be one of the toughest defenders in Vibranium.

Right up there with Hercules and Kingpin.

He looks somewhat tough for the current gc meta but realistically how many intercept metas do we usually get? And even then he is no Serpent or Enchantress to even justify him being a pure defender.

Patriot buff was ass, Sabretooth buff was garbage, and now this? How many more times are they gonna **** up buffs whoever is in charge of designing these needs to get fired cause these buffs have all been ass. Even the Voodoo buff feels underwhelming overall, Cull was the only really good buff we have recently but overall they're doing a terrible job at it.

Yeah Kabam needs to take a **** look at their rebalance program lol. Remember, Serpent was their fault as well, and they released 4 mystics back to back last year. Is that balance? Is that HEALTHY?
