T7B Fragments Nerf

In the current iteration of the valiant quest I can get 25,200 T7B fragments. According to the livestream, I will qualify for tier 2 of the elder difficulty as a valiant with a prestige of 23,408.

Now I will only be getting 22,500 T7B fragments a month from the EQ. I don’t know if any other rewards were changed but since T7B is one of the most sought after rewards, it’s disappointing to see this.

I made this point on another post. For valiant players who have been clearing the valiant EQ the last 3 months, If they don’t get rewards at least as good as what they were getting it’s a big L from Kabam. Especially F2P players .

The gap between massive accounts and everyone else apparently needs to be permanently wider per Kabam. The baseline, tier 1 rewards should have been comparable to current valiant EQ…. nerfing rewards for a bunch of summoners in the new format is a giant L. But tone deaf is the name of the game of late, they simply don’t consider nor care how their decisions play out.

We don't know. Crashed is saying the tier cutoffs are just thier as an example

Yesterday my prestige was 30k today it's just few no. Below 23k so I'm not gonna be getting the 25200 t7 frags just because of this new format ? Without my own fault? Just because Kabam said so? How can these Kabam employees be this idiot? Instead of atleast using the current EQ rewards as base form like everybody above valient get this rewards and then as prestige dependency scale your future rewards they simply chose to put players in bracket and now they have suffer the nerfed rewards? SMH. U guys gonna be seeing a new upcoming boycott it seems that is the only way your gonna be forced to. Either roll back of this unnecessary change or do opposite of nerf.

Did you stop to consider that previous iterations of valiant eq were test runs? I doubt it.

This is the same "why are paragon getting access to the valiant gauntlet" argument just with a different coat of paint.

People of the valiant tier believed that paragons should not have been receiving the same rewards as them. Which was pretty much a unanimously valid take.

But now that that same logic is being applied to valiants it is wrong.

Like crashed said its a new world and all valiants are not considered equal anymore.

Only instead of releasing a new progression tier they're tying it to prestige now to have a better shot at keeping people separated where they actually belong. Which again, is something that was pretty much unanimously agreed to be a good thing amongst valiants for the past year or so.

So essentially what you and Kabam are saying now it, it doesn't matter what your skill level are or which challenging boss you can over come, it just based on how much you spend, and there are only 2 levels, massive spender all in all the time and lower.

And those ftp, lower spenders (even if they are regular spender, can be get 2nd tier rewards because they are 2nd tier players. The good rewards are only reserved to massive spend who buy Feature crystals consisting until they have to newest, highest Prestige, take them to R4 and max sig.

Because the OP is discussing getting less rewards as valiant than he was previously getting. He’s not arguing the whole tier system. Again, if Kabam simply set the baseline to current Valiant EQ rewards, that would solve several of the complaints of the new system. Scale up from there and we all know how to get more rewards. I didn’t drop as much as others, but I am sympathetic to those who based on the screenshots are looking like they are going to get less than what they got before.

Why base it on Prestige? Prestige is not how you judge someone progression. Let's assume 2 players with exact same progression level. Same amount of champs, same amount of rankups and cleared same amount of content.

Player A had decided to rank up Onslaughts to R4 + other top prestige champs

Player B had decided to R4S Juggernaut to R4S + other low prestige champs because he like them

Now with new system player B will be punished and will get low tier rewards despite being same progression level as Player A

Do you think this a fair way to do it ?

If they really want EQ rewards to be dynamic and dependant on real progression of player, they should look on numbers of rankups and content cleared etc. not Prestige.

Prestige is just number allotted to a champ so they can sell it for people who wanted top AQ rewards. Not many people were interested in that but EQ most people want to get max rewards so now they are trying to milk these people. Plain and simple. It is all about $$$$ and nothing else

All valiants players should be getting the same rewards since they should be rewarded for progression and skill. The issue is that there is such a large gap between new valiant players and whales. The obvious solution is a new progression level. However, Kabam has decided to go down the economical route by basing progression off of prestige rather than playing the game.

Actually what they're saying is that if the top level of the customer base that sinks time and money into their top 30 champs account for x% of revenue, if we can't squeeze more from that class why not force an expansion of the class? Which makes fiscal sense as a Netmarble shareholder (disclosure). What fascinates me is I haven't seen yet the vitriol yet for the actual bad news of this, which is that the existing top percent will dictate the moving goal lines of pi/rewards going forward in perpetuity. It'll be interesting for sure. So, keep up with the Joneses or enjoy the side of the road.

well, I am at tier 5 (25975) and now after it went live I am showing a whopping 15,600 total. So the screenshots were actually far better than reality unless I am missing something. A huge nerf..

That's just the regular difficulty, switch to the elder tab to see the total (or perhaps in addition to) and it will be 32,700 for tier 5.

When looking at the rewards possibility screen, are people noticing that you have to select Elder to see the other half of the rewards? The first screen are the classic run rewards, which unlocks Elder (if I understand this new system correctly) so the total rewards are the 2 runs together.

I think they said if you complete elder, the other will show completed.

Do we only get elder rewards when we finished that, or so we get both elder and normal difficulty rewards? I know on the live stream they said when you complete elder it 100% the normal quests, so do we get those rewards too? If so this looks like a big win (as a tier 5 valiant).

Elder is locked though, you can’t jump right into it. I need to read all the info they blasted on this. Maybe you need to complete but not explore regular before doing elder.
