They said it will lock once you enter the quest. That is such a good idea to wait until 9.3 comes out. I’m going to do that too.
Also, Titan crystal changes next week if there is a new champion there that you'd want to rank up.
The live stream said when you enter the quest. So, you can rank up if you are close to another tier or whatever it will be called.
Gauge it by where you are in reference to the next tier. If an individual champ gains around 5k prestige from R3 to R4, that's not even a 200 point increase overall. So if you're a few hundred from a bump, wait, but if you've got a ways to go I would just get it done so it's out of the way when story and side quest drop.
yet another incentive to wait and engage at a later date. L.
They’ll cook up something like rewards decay to prevent us from waiting to enter
Brooo, cmon... noooo
I think we have had enough decaying of our accounts in the last 24 hours
I was kind of excited about the adaptive difficulty thing... but after looking at the nodes I just don't care enough to put myself through it. Everything just gets more convoluted and confusing and I just don't care anymore.
Hate to say it but I think this is my moment to uninstall and find something better to do with my time.
I looked at the nodes for quest 1 and its just regular eq nodes what are you talking about
This adaptive nonsense might rival the stupidity of 12.0
I'm super casual... And I liked having access to different difficulties of EQ because it gave me something chill to do when I didn't feel like paying too much attention. It gave me something super low-stress to fiddle with during the month while still collecting units in a way that was less soul-destroying than arena.
Now it's just another revive sink that I'm gonna have to put extra brain power into that I just don't have.
It's subjective experience. We all play the game differently... I just don't care anymore.
Ah ok, I didn't realize we could see all the tiers and stuff.
I just looked and I'm like 800 points from the next tier.
But like, what's the big difference in rewards for jumping to that next tier?
An extra +2300 T7B, +2300 T4A, +200 7 AG shards, a few hundred Titan shards, etc.
Even if I made it to the very top tier (impossible obviously, but just hypothetically):
It's +15k T7B, +7 sig stones, +26,300 T4A, +1800 AG shards, +9700 Titan shards.
As always, this game is based on a model where you need to spend $50,000 a year for an extra $500 of rewards. But I guess the feeling of status and superiority is priceless for those who can't find it in real life and are desperate to get it.
Maybe that's hypocritical of me to say because I do spend, but I like the game, want to support it, and also enjoy getting new champs and rank up resources.
This prestige stuff, though, that's just based on a pyramid scheme, it makes no sense to me.
Oh well….
It's not a pyramid structure tho. It's quiet linear in rewards distribution.
I see that one single reward tier, doestn have that much of a difference. Best to yolo it when you have time and forget about it.
Does anyone know if prestige locks when you start classic difficulty? If thats the case too bad it didnt lock once you started elder so we have something to dump energy into if we're waiting to do rank ups.
