Are you guys playing the "new" EQ?

I am fed up with the changes.
Granted I didn't know that big change is coming as I missed the livestream and was not that much active on forums.
I usually auto played lower difficulties in my office.
Now that option is no more.

Its still easy. Better to run through 2 difficulties instead of 7 or 8.

EQ is actually fun. Cleared Classic difficulty without breaking a sweat. Will start on Elder tomorrow.

Classic EQ isn't as bad as everyone is making out. Granted I've only done the first 2 chapters so far but no fight has gone over a minute thus far.

I like the new changes, but the rewards are still underwhelming for the amount of units used for exploration. So I won’t do it.

The new EQ is ****! EQ and AQ are / were the content I play now since the game is all about how much money you spend and the rest of the content is pay to win. No point in playing just to do AQ for the pathetic rewards, I may as well just quit the game. Thanks a lot kabam, great job 🙄

EQ takes no account of players who have just tiered up. I got to Cav last week thanks to some good luck, a lot of health pots and a couple of revives.

My reward? Punishment by being locked into an EQ tier too strong for my top 12 champs. Tried the first part of chapter 1 three times, dead every time after a few fights.

So, that's Battlegrounds unavailable as I'm always up against 6 and 7 star heavy teams, and now EQ out of reach too.

Where else will progression now come from.

We should at least be able to choose the previous tier (ie as a new Cav i should be able to choose Uncollected difficulty instead).

Also, just wait until the daily quests drop as well as new story content and watch everyone’s energy disappear. Your unit stash is going to be burned up trying to keep up with all this since they nerfed energy refills further than they did revives.

Ohh there's a purgatory that's inflicting poison near the end of the path. I spent 1 hr on that path to find out the requirement of bringing a poison immune.

Wtf why are you giving me a 6 star awakening gem for? Since this is tailored to your prestige, kabam wtf are these rewards? You think a person with 3 7r4s need 6 star shards?

You can also do these paths with 6 stars Champs and that's where most of the community is going to be stuck. Trying to grind out a 10 min fight. Or read all the nodes for 10 mins

To be fair it is easy. The format is what I'm against and that one has to prioritize prestige in most cases when doing rank ups.

Hate it. First, it takes away the unit farming you could do by autofighting the lower tiers. Now, max 130 units only if you clear all of the requisite milestones.

Second, the only way to get anything out of EQ now is to slog through fights that are designed to be hard for your prestige. No option to choose lower levels for less stressful fights.

Third, it is another ploy to rob us of the Hercules cheat code. The nodes make him useless in most of the quests. Like OG Scarlett Witch before him, I worked hard to acquire Hercules, rank him and max out his sig level only to have his value nerfed and my investment in him effectively destroyed. Nit acceptable.

I’m trying to slog through this first new EQ, but am already getting mad and frustrated, so it is highly unlikely that I’ll want to deal with that nonsense every month. Not much left in the game worth playing.

I did a few paths and all I can say is that I don't think I can afford to play this game anymore... both financially and time-wise. There's nothing left to do that isn't a stress-inducing resource-sink (besides maybe arena, shudders)

The only reason I'm still here is because I'm hopeful that they'll see the sentiment here and actually do something about it, but I won't hold my breath.

I feel in limbo with the game after these changes. I liked the effort it took to complete what I wanted in the previous EQ. Classic isn’t awful but rewards aren’t optimal. Elder seems like a slog and the rewards definitely don’t seem worth the struggle. I’m still just so confused about why? Why did they make these changes to a mode that everyone seemed to find in a good place? @Kabam (Osaurus) Rex can you shed some light on why we needed these changes now? I’m struggling to find purpose to play now really.

THis game used to be fun. Where you could rank up the champs you like. Now you have to rank up certain champs for prestige? The rewards are garbage. Bring back the old Event Quests.. Who thought that this would be a good idea?

The recent valiant quest was good just for 3 months,nobody complained, nice rewards not to much effort. and AGAIN they demolish some content that was pretty good.. great job kabam 👍 how to lose your playerbase exactly like this. Well done

Without being able to select difficulty level of event quest, there will be no reason for me to spend time in game. Thanks Kabam for giving me back time in my life to spend out of the game. My 3 active profiles can just do daily quests until you decide they need to be progress based alsp.

How is taking an option away to play in a lower tier good? I play the game to get away from real life and take a break, now I'm being forced to play at a higher level, where I need to use more revives and no opportunity to farm. I've tried the new AQ, I have 2 R4 7 stars and I'm telling you, health pools of 120k on defenders and some strange nodes that I've got to see a video about, just turn the content into something that I can't do casually anymore.
The way the game evolves, nodes are complicated with progression but having to wait for a Youtuber to make a guide and then clear AQ, is not going to be worth the investment.
Honestly, Kabam needs to do a survey to understand the age of its userbase, with respect to paying and casual players and then figure out who its targeting. Most of my age group is at work for 9-10 hours of the day, then you get home and can't play content before seeing a video, just eats into more time thats spent 'away' from the game.

I agree, I can't do auto fight for those free units anymore. Plus, I could simply avoid any content I did not want to play, instead, now, there is only one way. Take it or leave it! Not cool👎️
