Elder Valiant Event Quest Difficulty Feedback
For those who haven't seen, the "elder" difficulty in the new event quest is a similar format to the crucible quests. This means it includes every fight from each path in the corresponding "classic" difficulty, but now combined into one path, with champion swap nodes between each fights.
However, unlike the crucible swap nodes, these ones DO NOT heal your champions. For the first quest alone, you must have 15 mutant champions able to counter the node & another champion for the boss. Being forced to use health potions after most/all fights if not played perfectly is very unforgiving, compared to how Event Quests & the guantlets in the past have worked.
This worries me because if the later chapters follow the same format, chapter 3 quests will be 25 continuous fights (26 incl. the boss) that all must be taken with champions of the same class. With no healing nodes sprinkled in!
In my opinion, these quests are far too long & resource demanding to occur on a monthly basis. For me, this is missing the mark of what a monthly event quest should be, and a step down from progress made with the valiant gauntlets recently.
