Not Good Enough
I have rarely seen sentiment so negative about this game. Yes we are resistant to change as a community, but these recent changes do not serve the existing community. I am certain kabam knows this, they have surveyed us time and again (“you’ve been chosen!” x20) and know what we do and don’t want.
We should be sick of being ignored. The principle of changing how prestige is used makes sense to most of us, but how it’s applied is ridiculous. The game has become more complicated despite kabam outwardly acknowledging it needed simplifying. Yet again, Kabam has undercut their own good work (valiant EQ) by introducing something confusing that no one wanted. It’s just like the unnecessary AW change after finally getting the map right after months and months of tweaking and patience from all parties.
Now, Kabam has introduced a time limited code in the summoners market which we can’t even use because the market is broken.
I have some sympathy, accidents happen. Kabam’s QA is an unforgivable JOKE right now. I spend maybe £3k/year on this game, so I am a whale and need no judgment for it. I’m sure others feel similarly and I’m sad to see many are quitting entirely. I don’t care about the politics but for the money I spend I expect better.
This game will soon die without a proper QA team. People like me who earn enough to drop this kind of money on a game expect better from our teams and demand better from the services we receive, it is simply a fact.
Do better or shut up shop.
